Graduated from Brunel University (Industrial Chemistry) and went on to
the University of Bristol (PhD in Colloid Stability, CASE award with BP)
followed by post-doctoral research in Conductive Polymer Dispersions (funded
by ICI). Moved to Rapra in 1990, initially working on multi-client research
projects with the Chemical Technology Group. These included Reactive Processing,
Blends and Alloys, Surface pre-treatment for Adhesion and Conductive Polymer
Composites. Then transferred to the Analytical Chemistry Group working
on a wide range of client projects (e.g. materials analysis, problem solving,
expert witness work and testing of food contact polymers). After three
years in a Business Development/Consultancy role with Intertek Testing
Services, joined ipolytech in 2005. |
